Andrew earned his Bachelor’s of History and a Master’s in Education at Niagara University in New York. Following college, Andrew moved to Maryland and served as a social studies teacher at Frederick Douglass High School. While teaching, Andrew served as a building representative and local government relations chair for the Maryland State Teachers Association (now the Maryland State Education Association) where he led efforts at the state level to fight for increased funding for education. Andrew resides with his wife and children in Gambrills with their dog Stanley&nbsp;Andrew believes elected officials are meant to serve, not be served. As an Eagle Scout, he believes that public service is important to our community. Will you join him in working toward a brighter future for our community?

Andrew has a strong record and experience with public service, including service on the Anne Arundel County Board of Appeals, President of the Anne Arundel County Board of Education, and serving as a former Chair of the Anne Arundel County Council. He currently serves as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 33A. Even though it is his first term, his colleagues who trust his leadership voted to elect Andrew as Chair of the Anne Arundel County Delegation in 2025.During his service, he fought to address issues important to our community including improving our schools, increasing support for public services and infrastructure, promoting economic growth, and protecting our environment.

People deserve a representative who stands at their side.&nbsp;Whether I coach your children in the Gambrills Odenton Recreation Council (GORC), welcome you at National Night Out in Seven Oaks, provide community updates at the Greater Crofton Council meeting, or greet you at the Piney Orchard Street Festival, I am always in the community.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Working together helps resolve issues, and we are proud to live in a community where we help each other. Anne Arundel County has several early vote locations and you can vote at ANY of them. The closest ones to District 33A are the Odenton Library and the Crofton Library. &nbsp;Primary Election Day is on June 23rd and polling locations are in each precinct. As a Delegate, Andrew will continue to fight to lower prescription, medical, daycare, and utility costs. He fully supports our schools and will advocate for adequate compensation for staff. Andrew believes that our first responders and veterans should receive adequate resources, along with assistance to their families. He supports women's reproductive rights and access to healthcare. Andrew will continue his efforts to keep illegal guns off our streets and protect the rights of Maryland residents. He will work to assist local small businesses to improve economic growth. He will improve our local infrastructure, protect our environment, and promote sustainability.
